Just come back from holiday, and spent two hours lifting the last of my spuds not two bad a bit more water would have helped, but to late now. Oxalic daisy? I think it multiplyied over the last week two hours spent digging it out, and still loads to do hopefully it will get better next year. Picked loads of runner beans should be able to fill the freezer.

Hello to you all,i have just got in from the plot and found this site.As you may or may not be aware here in Wales we have more than our fair share of bad weather BUT this year it has been quite a good year in spite of it all.I look forward to hearing from you soon

Ive had my alloment just over 1 year now, when i rented it privetly i was told by other garden owners it had been a dumping ground for a builder, which i have now found out that it was by the debris i have dug out.a few of the ppl on our allottments said you,ll be lucky if u can do anything with that, but with determination and hard work im getting there, ive removed all the overgrowth dug it ov

lavender cuttings ?

i have three recently planted french lavenders and one plant (type is unknown) that is three years old.
i would like to take cuttings from them for future use.
i understand i shouldnt take cuttings in the first year and checked on internet site, two sites advise different ways, one is take 8 inch cutting by tearing off from
the end leaving a heel on the cutting.
