I've been away for a while and today was my first proper day back of 2009. I've been up and mucked about a bit, but today was when I really got mucky and I loved it. I had a bit of a tidy up and then I built the raised bed I've been promising the girls I'd build then and it was a great success.

So, I'm only one week in to this allotment malarky and I've already got a pickle of a quandry on my hands. To go organic (or "orgasmic" as my Dad says...hilarious!) or not. It's a questions I'm wrestling with as I really do not want to put chemicals on the allotment, after all it's what I'm trying to get away from by having an allotment in the first place.
