My mum has a unheated greenhouse and already she seems to have a bumper seed crop of peppers, chillies, corgettes, pumpkins and various flowers. When i asked how she got them up being as it was bloody cold she said it was due to the fist tank.

Thought i would make a runner bean trench last week but the soil was abit squishy still so instead i put manure and grass clippings that had composted down slightly straight onto the soil.

Well i've spent the last week in my garden and it's been progressing nicely. With help from my dad,uncle,brother and boyfriend we managed to get the garden forked over, rotovated and built to raised beds out of sleepers. Tomorrow im gonna plant in a few peas,garlic,shallots and potaotes. Im soooo excited it finely is coming together ,i cant wait till im able to get my veg and cook with it.

Planted my tomatoes seeds just over two weeks ago. Left them in the house on the window sill and they had germinated within three days so i was well chuffed. They now been put into indivudal mini pots and are nearly growing really well. Well pleased with them. I planted beef steak and gardeners delight.( got quite a few those)

hi, just joined the website so i thought i would introduce myself. I dont have an allottment but dad has a farm so he gave me my own little plot. I've been growing veg for the last three years with very mixed results. last year was a complete flop due to the trees around my gardening covering everything with a very dense shade. However my garlic, onions,broadbeans and shallots did well.
