After taking up the Allotment late 2009, things were going well.
The Ground was taking longer than I thought, as there was so much rubbish dumped in the ground.
So I decided to do half, then work on the rest while the Veg I had planted was growing.
This is what was happening, until my life took a sideways turn, time was not mine, due to family Illness.

After Clearing the Earth Mound at the back of my plot on day one, i decided I would start at the back, then work to the front.
I had hoped getting the grass up would take me about a week, but I feel that it will take me a little longer than that.
Due to the state of the ground, I cannot believe that this ground used to be used for an allotment in the past.

This is my first Allotment .
After many hours agonising should I take the Allotment, or just leave it.
I decided to jump in with both feet, the good thing is I have had some good advice from friends, they've also lent me tools.
But now is the time to start the real work on Plot 5.
The grass started to grow, so I needed to get it short and manageable.
