A normal Sunday, early evening, thinking about cooking and the phone rings. It is a lottery moment, after years of waiting my numbers have come up and a lovely lady is offering me an allotment. And not just any allotment, but one just yards from my front door. I can see it immediately and within the hour the deed is done and I have productive land.
