Ex battery hens needing new homes!
Available on the 15th October when their battery lives end, and they can hopefully get a happy retirement with caring owners, who should be rewarded with lots of lovely eggs and amusment by watching these lovely ladies.
Fresh Start for hens, is a group which buys hens direct from the farms just before they are due to be slaughtered, and then rehome them so they can enjoy their lives and experience a happy life.

Min donation of £2.50 per hen, and all hens must be reserved before the collection date.
Collection points are available throughout the country and i am very happy to be running the new one in Lancashire.

What a lovely thing to do. I have looked into this before but the equipment is so expensive to buy (hen houses etc). One day when we have more money I will definitely rehome some of these lovely feathery girls.
