Farmyard manure

Quick heads up:

You can get well rotted farmyard manure from Freightliners City Farm in Sheringham Road, Islington.

It costs £2.50 bag for pre bagged. It's much cheaper if you come and dig it out yourself though.

Does anyone know anywhere more local to Muswell Hill where you can get farmyard/horse manure?

Try looking in the equestrian pages in the yellow free ads for fairly local telephone numbers of horse owners/stables, and give them a call they are always looking to clear manure. The yellow Free Ads paper also lets you place wanted ads at no cost for as long as you like so why not put a wanted ad in. I did and got a cheap greenhouse.
