Hello all
Bad news i'm afraid last nights frost has blackened my early tatties. Although they will be severely checked I'm hoping they will grow new tops. they have regrown in previous years but it usually puts them back about 4 weeks so hears hoping.
Life would be really dull if we had all successes and no failures so as I always say there is all next season not touched yet.
Happy gardening

Frost Damage

It is always a chance we gardeners take when we take advantage of good weather! I have put my runners out, which is over two weeks early, I have been lucky so far that although we have had a couple of chilly mornings we have not had a proper frost. I am sure you will be able to nurture your tatties back to good health, you will just have to wait that little bit longer for your first home grown roasties.

Regards
Hayley
