Greenagers Fit as a Ffiddle

Hello Everyone I am the coordinator of a brand new project lottery funded and run by Age Concern Malvern Worcestershire. The allotment plot has just been leveled and raised beds have been built which make the plot user friendly for people who might find it difficult to work a conventional vegetable garden. We hope to launch the project in the spring, but meanwhile I would be very grateful for advice on the best way forward to prepare the soil for planting infact any knowledge about raised beds and their maintainance would be most appreciated.
