Growing in drain gutters

Ideal way of starting crops without too much disturbance sow as you would a row of veg ideal for salad crops/beetroot/spinach/peas to get every thing started earlier these are in the protection of glasshouse, photo shows spinach/ mizuna and cut & come again lettuce

I tried this last year, but forgot to drill drainage holes in the bottom! I just taped up the open ends with gaffer tape. I found that any lengths longer than 1 metre long were a bit wobbly when handling.
