help!
Hi there
I have just joined the Launceston Group so apologies for being a bit of a newbie to this site.
I am hopefully looking for some advice on how to get/apply for an allotment if there are any available at all in the Launceston area? I do grow my own, but my garden is rapidly running out of space and the cauliflowers are now taking over everything!
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated and look forward to chatting to anyone :-)
Many thanks
Jo

phone your local council
Tanya Posted at 12:57 on Thu, 07/15/2010phone your local council they should be able to give you a list of the allotment sites in your area. Or if you are driving round and come across one that is close to you see if there is a on site shed(shop) or anyone on an alootment and ask for a number to contact the chair person .
Good luck

Haggyshoose Posted at 14:53 on Sat, 05/21/2011Hi Julia
This has been some time since you responded to my post and apologies as have only just seen the responses. YES i am still interested in an allotment! I thought that something had been sorted but it has fallen through so am on the search again (being slightly overrun with veg in my back garden has prompted me to search again!).I guess your new setting up has probably all been filled by now, but should you have any spaces, I would be very interested :-)
Hope to hear from you
Jo
