It's been AGES since i came on here as there wasnt anyone in the group I just thought nothing was going to happen with it. So nice to hear from you!
My allotment is in holbrooks and i took it on last summer. I had a little bit off it last year however it was a bit late really. this year i have big plans! I've already planned garlic, shallots, and onion sets. I'm busy digging to accomadate the potatoes i have chitting at the moment.

glad that we seem to be lurching into life.
My wife and i have an allotment off Allesley old road which we just able to start doing this years work on.
I planted honey berry bushes at the end of last year but they didn't survive but i hope my goji berry lives!
So far ths year i've planted strawberry, aubergine and tomoato seeds at home but nothing in the allotment. I put my garlic in last year and that seems to be doing well. Pulled out the last of my sprouts (which were a huge growing success but not welcomed by the leg biters) and generally pruning raspberrys, gooseberrys etc.
after three years i fanally hope to bring my last bed online this year by planting some spuds. other than that i am aiming for more seetcorn, chard, onions and the usual roots and stuff.
i only have 3/4 of a half ploat, the rest being damson tees, but as I work away in London all week it all i can do to stay on top of it all.
