Last Christmas my shed was arsoned. I lost everything all my tools, seeds, books, kettle and most importantly place of shelter. I've heard that you can insure your plot. Is it worth doing?

INSURANCE

It is all down to you as to wether you get insurance, 1 advantage is you would be covered if anyone had an accident on your plot but it all depends on price, your shed & tools would be covered.

Edible Garden Show 2012

Did any allotmeers go to this show last year? What was your experience of the show? I'd be interested to know as I'm trying to organise a site trip.

Insurance

Hi Gillian, You only get what you pay for. At Cymdeithas y Dalar scheme in South Wales we have taken out a group public liability insurance to cover all plot holders and their helpers. It works out at about £3 per plot holder per year.
