Making Plaques at Primary School

Kate and Eileen ran a stall the school's Nature Day on 1st May, showing kids how to make plaques (or tiles) using objects pressed into a plasticine mould which was then cast in plaster. All the kids enjoyed the activity and we had a good range of ages taking part. We'll be doing more as part of the Breaking Ground project. Watch this space.

Thanks to Kate and Eileen for organising this and raising the profile of the Allotments Association. Please support the efforts of the Association when the 'Breaking Ground' events burst onto the scene nearer to the Festival date.
