Tomatoes! There are so many varieties to choose from, so many different ways to grow them - and they remind of them of my Mum, who always swore by Moneymaker, which she grew in what I think is called 'ring culture'.

My favourite is courgette

I love the bright yellow flower and the fact that one day there's no sign of them and the next you find a marrow.

Closely followed by lettuce as it saves me buying the half dead lettuce from the supermarket.

Favourite vegetable to grow

Mine is Rocket. It grows all the year round - my allotment looks out over Mounts Bay, Penzance, but it will grow anywhere over winter with protection; it self seeds; it is easy - just sprinkle the seeds and rake in; I find salads really bland without it.

Hmmm

I can't decide which is my favourite veg to grow lol, there are just too many to chose from, for instance in the greenhouse I love the smell of the tomatoes as they are watered it literally fills the greenhouse, I love the speed and prolific nature of the cucumber I swear you can hear them grow lol, I grew melons and the smell of them was amazing, sweet and thick in the air, and although they were very small they were packed with flavour, Oh now Aubergines, with it's beautiful purple flowers, they are stunning just to watch grow, cape gooseberry is also very pretty with it's beautiful chinese lanterns, and my pick a hot pepper plant which was so abundant, I added chilli to everything last year lol including chocolate cake. I haven't even finished with what I grew in the greenhouse never mind outside lol so I really can't choose.
I just Love my allotment lol and I Love it when anything grows lol

Favourite Veg?????

It's not really a Veg but it is grown. I really don't think you can beat rhubarb for easiness to grow and flavour. If I had to pick a full blown veg though I love brassicas especially purple sprouting brocolli and Kale.

My Favourite Veg

I really like growing salad stuff, especially tomatoes (agree about the amazing smell in the greenhouse!) and baby salad leaves. Much better than the soggy stuff you pay £2 for in the shops and is washed in bleach!

Got a few new potential faves this year, artichoke, amaranth, kale and leeks. I also love growing herbs to use when cooking at home, again much better than from the supermarket. I recently bought some sage from Asda from which I now have several successful cuttings which are flourishing.
