New Year, Same Plot
Hello - I have had my plot for about 5 years now, although I had to get a friend to manage it for me for a couple of years due to ill health and business. Luckily all that's over now so I am back in the swing of things, since October.
There's been quite a lot of clearing up to do because my friend did his back in in late summer, so things had got a bit out of hand.
My plot (5 rods) is blessed with a polytunnel and also one of the water troughs is situated on it. It's also near the gate and parking area and handy for the allotments loo too - quite a blessing!
There's quite a bit of fruit on the plot - apples, pears, blackberries, raspberries, fig and a grape vine. One of the apple trees is quite large - I imagine it must be around 20 years old. I also have some well-established herbs: rosemary, thyme and sage.
Believe it or not though, there is still some space for veg and salad stuff - I'm really looking forward to the start of the planting season!

Well good luck this year! I would also like to say it sounds like you have it all to hand on your plot and I can see many plot holders being very envious of you! You will be glad you never gave it up when you see all the lovely wares it gives you year upon year, and who can forget the great sun tan you will get in Summer!!!
All the best
Jayne
