hi all, my knowledge of gardening is extremely limited, i didnt start till i was 70
however this rate among my biggest gaffs, at the foot of the garden we have a tree which must be best part of 20ft high and gives fruit each year and has done for some years, i asked my partner is the fruit eatable she no its poisonous to humans its gets left for the birds. this summer our neighbours have informed us they have been eating "the plums" for a long time and they are delicious.
well i`m ignorant i dont know,. finally can anyone tell me if the tree should be cut back. and to what extent, it has become out of reach along with its fruit but i would like to ruin it by silly chopping any help is welcome
