red sprouts
I tried them a couple years ago, barely any grew bigger than marbles.
This year trying the new Kale/spout cross Petit Posy (or the name is similar.

Have also tried to grow Red Sprouts many times over the past years also without any success. Have tried all the preparation treatments the gardening and allotment books suggest - no success. Am also going to try Petit Posy this year after seeing it on gardeners world as it looks like something different for the plate. Seeds from Marshalls. - Dave G (Northumberland)

I bought red sprout plants from an otherwise reliable source last year and also achieved only a few marble sized sprouts. I won't be bothering this year.

hi ,has anyone had problems growing red sprouts at all . one of our guys has tried them out for three yrs now with not good results as he grows them side by side with normal green one,s he says the green when lifting the stalks have a lge root section but the red has very little and can.t understand why, he will be gratefull for any advice cheers in advance bob
