Scarecrows
Looking at the scarecrow avatars everyone has on this site has given me an idea - how about a scarecrow competition? Everyone could post pictures of their scarecrows on the site and we could all vote on the ones we like the best.
Be great for kids and good fun for the rest of us too - What does everyone think?
that sounds like a good idea, may have to re-do mine as its looking really weathered.

That's an excellent idea but why not take it a step further and have lots of other competitions running as well come on all you posters suggestions please

What would be the prizes for a competition?
Extra groats or a certificate?
May I suggest if you would like to do something like this for fun that you set a few ground rules and maybe ask Tumbledown to judge for you? And then see who would like to have a go.

great idea!im getting the kids to build me a scarecrow as i have finally just an allotment after 2 years of waiting! ill post it up once done :)
