Sea Weed

Last year I used sea weed when planting my earlies. Having had problems in the past with slugs I read using sea weed at the bottom of the trench deterred the slugs.
I definitely saw an improvement so this I year I have done the same. Luckily I live only 2 miles from the coast so collecting it is not a problem. Hope this is of some help although you who live fuerther south have already planted your earlies.
