Seedy stuff

Well today's lovely spring-like weather saw me rushing off in search of seed potatoes. I'm not going to grow many, just a row of first earlies (Arran Pilot). I had my daughter with me though, and before I knew it I had half a dozen packets of various vegetable seeds as well (" oh Mum, I love sweetcorn" " how about broccoli?" "tomatoes?" "vegetable spaghetti?". I managed to limit my cash-crisis a bit by pointing out that it is still only mid-January and buying seeds that aren't going to planted till May is probably not very sound economic sense. It was okay though, as she was then distracted by a range of dog collars and leads, all very nice and all very pricey.
Still, the dog looks nice.
