Having only just taken on our plot this month We have a lot of work in front of us.
I havn`t done any proper digging for years, I dug this small area in 3deg but the digging kept me warm. I will post updates on our progress

DATA311 Posted at 22:21 on Sun, 02/05/2012Always good to make a start Mick, and it feels even better when you have completed the transformation. But don't push yourself to hard.
I also have recently started a new plot, but it is no way as bad as your plot, thankfully the plot I have has not had anything done to it for at least 3yrs, but the last occupants had placed down black sheeting on at least half the plot, so a lot of the weeds have been avoided.
Done little digging though due to the ground being frozen solid.
Will have to remember to take a photo of it next time I'm up there.

Biker Mick Posted at 21:27 on Wed, 02/08/2012Oh I am defo doing little by little,we have a pollytunnel/greenhouse to errect soon but the snow put pay to that i have collected some pallets from work to make a bench inside,The wife has just started to sort the seeds out so really looking forward to spring.Looking forward to seeing your progress

DATA311 Posted at 22:44 on Wed, 02/08/2012Yes the weather has put a hold on my progress also, we have managed to shift a large amount of manure, but no good for this year, it is far to fresh........
We have also managed to obtain a small greenhouse, but we still have to collect it and erect it, had little time to do anything this week due to lack of time. Will try and get a bit done next week though, thankfully on night shift, so got a bit of time in the day............................................weather permitting..........
