Hi Every One HAPPY NEW YEAR

Ive got my seed potatoes today. Now what.

Been reading my books. Bit confused already, do i keep them in the shed or do they need light?

Also when does everbody plant theres? Last year all my potatoes got blight, think its because I didnt get my allotment til late may so maybe put them in to late.

Hi everyone

Well I put my broad beans in a few weeks ago and covered it with a cloche, thing is I lifted cloche up this afternoon to see if anything was happening and there was some white furry mould on top of soil. Is this normal?

I want to over winter some broad beans, should i just start them outside or is it best to start them off in my greenhouse?

Cant stand my plot looking so empty, lol

Just recently taken over an allotment in Southwick which is in between Shoreham-by-Sea and Hove, it was very overgrown and unloved, made some progress but loads more work to do yet.

realised id had my allotment for 4 months and have had some lovely things from it. The leeks i had to pull up due to it being filled with maggoty things. Next year will keep a better eye on them.
