Spring onions
I love growing spring onions. They taste good, look good and easy to grow. Spring onions grow well in most types of soil but i find that the space between each spring onions can determine the flavour. Too close and they grw tall with a small head, too far apart and they grow short with a large head.

I don't find them easy in fact I never know from one year to the next weather or not I will even get any, but the taste is so delicious and to have the excitement of opening up the leaves and finding a lovely cauliflower is great.
