First plants are in!!
We have just today planted our Raspberry canes ready for a glorious crop next summer. Oh and a few Strawberrries too.

I have been looking around for Greenhouses and its hard to find a bargin.

Top Soil
Is anybody getting top soil for there plot?
Thompsons of Crews Hill sell Dumpy bags of Rich Soil for £40.
The delivery cost is £20 for 1 to 15 bags so the more people who club together the cheaper the delivery is.
Or if anyone knows any cheaper top soil please let me know.
Padlock Problem
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your email.
I have just returned from holiday today and I am aware of this problem.
A padlock is going to be welded on a chain to the gate tomorrow , so that everyone can have access again, and this problem will not return!

Horse Manure
Hi Everybody,
I have a friend who has Horses and is willing to load his trailer with manure for us.
In return just wants a contribution towards Diesel.

Key for padlock on St Audreys Green Allotments
In addition to Peters post, I put a spare padlock of mine on the gate as I felt it needed something on there. I am at no 12 St Audreys Green and am around most of the time at the moment, so feel free to knock for the key.

Missing padlock on the gates
Hi everyone
Chris from Plot three noticed last night (Friday night) that the Gate was open, when he went to look the Padlock was missing.
He has put a Padlock on the gate, with a note telling you what to do if you want to get the key.
The Padlock was quite a hefty thing to cut-off or saw through.

Hello all
I have not been able to get to my plot since the early part of the week, due to having a BBQ to organise.
But I will be back on monday morning.
If anyone needs the use of a Mattock, to get roots, weeds and grass up, drop me a line on here, and we can make arrangements for you to borrow it.
Believe me it is a great tool, it beats using the fork,spade on the hard ground.
