Hi Every1
Was just wondering if anyone can give any tips on preparation of my sweet corn bed. Grew some last year that did ok, but think that was down to luck as it was my 1st year.

sweetcorn
hi karen, well in response to your request all i do is dig in plenty of manure as i turn it over at the end of season and and roll it over in spring to firm the ground adding a dusting of fish blood and bone . i start mine off in the greenhouse in april planting out in early may.i had three good years crops but last year all our members had multiple cobs on each stem up to 12 on some when we should only have about two or three . im looking forward to a better crop this year ,hope you both have the same best wishes bob ( hull east yorks )
