Hi

Its my 1st go at growing tomatoes, well 1st time at growing anything actually.

Can anyone tell me if catterpillars on my tomatoe plants are doing any harm. Also I have been growing my tomatoes in one of those plastic little greenhouses do you rekon I should take the cover off the frame of green house as my plant has reached the top.

Thanks in advance Karen

tomatoes and caterpillers

I would try and remove the caterpillers as they will eat the plant of all it's foliage and that can't be good, as it's my first time growing anything too I'm calling this my trial and error year lol,
I would keep your tomatoes in the greenhouse only as they reach the roof I'd pinch out their tops, that's what I've done with my tomatoes, cucumber and melons and they all seem to have bushed out because of it
