winter

Hi Andy2801 if you go on-line or get some seed catalogue and read though then there are some cabbage and some cauliflower that you can seed in August and September and then you plant them out October and they will grow though the winter and come march and April you will have spring green's there are other things but it's just looking though the catalogue's hope this was useful

Spring Vegetables

Hi Andy,
Cabbage and Cauliflowers are the traditional wintering vegetables but try Radicchio -Palla Rosa or Trevi, easy to grow, colourful and nice to eat.
Check out sppliers online - www.suttons.co.uk www.marshalls-seeds.co.uk www.stores.ebay.co.uk/premier-seeds-direct (my favourite, excellent value and cheap super fast delivery.
Best of luck
