Love them or hate them, the little wrigglers have got to be one of an Allotmenteers best friend. Have had my wormery for about 15 months and emptied it once - what a pallaver! It is a large bin type and the compost was brill and have got loads of 'Worm gold' for the plot BUT has anyone got a suggestion to empty it out. It is very heavy; turned the last one out onto sheeting and picked out top layer and most of the worms and barrowed the rest onto plot. Any ideas for an easier method?
PS Am a bit of a softy and hate disturbing them though ;-)
